The Opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen to join The University of Edinburgh Catering Department.
The role will be based at our largest catering unit The John McIntyre Centre located within the Pollock Halls Campus.
The John McIntyre Centre is a 650-seater buffet restaurant that provides approximately 28000 meals each week during our student period and also provide breakfast lunch and dinner to our commercial guests year-round.
Undertake food preparation duties as part of a kitchen team and assist chefs of all levels above Chef de Partie with any other basic food prep duties required as per recipes for daily menus. In addition help with general cleaning duties or dish wash duties within the department and any food service if required.
This post is open-ended Guaranteed hours contract of 20 hours per year however we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.
