Job Description
Clean Harbors is searching for a reliable and safety oriented I&E Technician with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our team!
TheElectrical and Instrumentation Technicianwill be responsible forperforming hands-on instrument checks calibrations and PLC Logic programming along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner
- Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
- Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
- Maintains accurate records and logs as required
- Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
- Installs cabling power distribution systems and motor control centers
- Services and replaces motors and lighting
- Performs general electrical maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- 5 years combined of plant experience and/or advanced related education preferred
- 3-5 years of Instrumentation and electrical experience preferred (Will consider less experience in lieu of degree)
- Journeyman Electrician License is a plus
- Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics
- Low to medium voltage experience
- Proficiency in process and instrumentation diagrams
- Willing to work a rotating shift day and/or night as well as overtime as needed
