THE POSITION
Washington County Behavioral Health Division within the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department is recruiting for an Aid and Assist Monitor to join our Aid and Assist Team!

About the Opportunity:
This position will be responsible for evaluating coordinating community restoration and related services and supports for Oregon State Hospital (OSH) and other Aid and Assist defendants. Essential duties may include but are not limited to:- Conduct Community Restoration (CR) Consultation Evaluations; complete related paperwork and attend and testify at hearings as necessary.
- DevelopCommunity Restoration Plansbased onidentifiedneeds; work with the patientthe court attorneyscollateralsandproviders to implement andmonitorthe ongoing efficacy of thePlan.
- Monitor client adherence to CR court orders and report to the court as ordered and needed.
- Perform related Jail Diversion duties as assigned.
- Refer clients to outside agencies for social economichousing and medical services as needed; arrange and coordinate service provisionfor those in and out of jail and OSH custody.
- Provide mental healthandAid and Assist education servicesto clients familiesprovider agencies and other stakeholders.
- Perform Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) Community Restoration Inmate Council Program (ICP) and Jail Diversion back-up support to those teams as requested by supervisor.
- Provide Psychological First Aid to citizens when necessary.
- Attend advisory committees and coordinate meetings as necessary.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- A Masters degree in Counseling Psychology Social Work or related field;ANDthree (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in providing case management or services coordination in a human services related field;
AND - Must be certified by the Mental Health and Addictions Certification Board of Oregon as a Qualified Mental Health Professional or hold an approved clinical license and meet the criteria of a Qualified Mental Health Professional as defined in the Oregon Administrative Rules.

Additional preferred qualifications screening may be applied prior to the interview step depending on the number of applications received.
- Panel Interview(s):Generally the top 6 8 candidates will be invited to participate in a panel interview.
- Conditional Offer: A successful candidate will be required to successfully clear a third-party background check as a pre-employment condition and State of Oregon comprehensive background check as a condition of continuous employment.
