THE POSITION


Washington County Behavioral Health Division within the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department is recruiting for an Aid and Assist Monitor to join our Aid and Assist Team!

About the Opportunity:
This position will be responsible for evaluating coordinating community restoration and related services and supports for Oregon State Hospital (OSH) and other Aid and Assist defendants. Essential duties may include but are not limited to:

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the intersection of criminal justice and behavioral health the Aid and Assist process and the community behavioral health system. Experience in clinical risk assessment is essential.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Steps of the process:

MQ Review:Human Resources will conduct the first initial application screening for MQs beginning the week of 6/23/2025 and further screening may be conducted continuously depending on the business need. Additional preferred qualifications screening may be applied prior to the interview step depending on the number of applications received.
  3. Panel Interview(s):Generally the top 6 8 candidates will be invited to participate in a panel interview.
  4. Conditional Offer: A successful candidate will be required to successfully clear a third-party background check as a pre-employment condition and State of Oregon comprehensive background check as a condition of continuous employment.
