General Description
The Facilitator of Collaborative Inquiry must be a certified teacher who will assist the building principal assistant principals (if applicable) and Curriculum Directors in facilitating collaborative meetings involving curriculum development data analysis instructional impact and other specified building-based duties.
Qualifications
- Certified teacher implementing all core curricula with integrity.
- Working knowledge of Google Drive Google Docs Google Slides and Google Sheets.
- Willingness to facilitate unpacking and looking at student work protocols and work with any data analysis reporting tools.
Duties
- Attend meetings with building administrator(s) outside of school hours to plan future PD experiences (choosing protocols aligning outcomes) (no more than 20 hours over the course of the school year)
- Attend monthly meeting with curriculum directors on Tuesdays in-person at central office 3:30-4:30pm
Meeting Dates
- 9/9/25 10/7/25 11/18/25 1/13/26 2/10/26 3/10/26 4/7/26 5/12/26 6/9/26 (mostly the 2nd Tuesday of the month)
- Participate in a 2-hour summer professional development planning August:00-11:00am.
- Work with administrators to prepare and facilitate professional development time.
- Facilitate building-based collaborative inquiry cohorts (This could include: Eureka Squared Module unpacking Wit and Wisdom Module unpacking Math implementation support Science MCAS updates) .
- Facilitate the interpretation of data for curriculum and instructional decisions and student intervention. (Example: Looking at student work (FQT) protocol Data dashboard teacher sheet).
- Facilitate meetings or support colleagues/principal with facilitation.
- Assist with communication within the school about scope and sequence common assessment and other curriculum information throughout the year.
