Job Description
A student council advisorguidesstudent leadersin successfully planning events making decisions and representing their fellow students. This role is essential to developing students leadership skills and supporting their efforts to serve their school.
At BHS our StudentCouncil Advisor must be able to accomplish the following:
- Oversee all events in coordination with co-advisor.
- Coordinate all fundraisers and handle the cash box.
- Hire vendors including security DJs venues event catering and photography.
- Co-coordinate communicate and oversee BHS events such as spirit weeks student led athletic tournaments (such as corn hole etc.) ice cream socials BBQs superfan events and senior shirt creation and distribution.
- Co-advise every Student Council meeting.
- Set up run and breakdown all dances parades and oversee all elections for Student Council.
- Other duties as assigned in coordination with Co-advisor.
