Job Description
Our Mortgage Loan Processors help bring homeowners dreams come true. As a member of our Mortgage & Consumer Loan Processing team you will compile and evaluate mortgage and consumer loan application information. Your main goal will be to collect the necessary documents needed from applicants for loan approval and check the information for completeness and compliance with industry and government standards and guidelines. You will enter this data into our loan processing system for processing and verify all details before sending the application to underwriters for final approval. You will be instrumental in developing documentation that informs customers about the terms of their loan and secures the customers relationship with the bank. Your research and analytical skills will be fully utilized as you dig in and contact vendors; analyze income tax and property documents; and manage deadlines.
Our Loan Processors work regular business hours 8:15 am - 5:00 pm Mon - Fri* within a team-oriented office setting. This position is ON-SITE in Hartford Wisconsin.
The workload can be challenging as you process several applications simultaneously and under tight deadlines frequently switch gears as priorities shift due to customer needs.
You may qualify if you have:
- Have three years of banking experience.
- Possess two years of loan processing experience (preferred but not required.)
- Ability to learn and/or understand various mortgage product options including fixed rate adjustable rate WHEDA and lot loans.
- Honor a strong commitment to upholding the confidentiality of our customers.
- Love working as a member of a cross-functional team.
- Have excellent research data analysis and data entry skills.
- Enjoy a fast pace and frequent shifting of gears.
- Be adept in using a computer to include Microsoft Office Excel and lending software. Experience with MortgageBot and LaserPro preferred.
- *Ability to work in the office 8:15 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and overtime as needed as demands increase. Must be within commuting distance to Hartford WI.
- Adjust to a challenging workload while processing several applications simultaneously and under tight deadlines frequently adjusting as priorities shift due to customer needs.

- Possess the ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
- Ability to interact positively and communicate well with internal and external customers.
- Be organized and efficient while multitasking and organizing various details of a transaction while meeting tight deadlines.
- Ask questions to clarify understanding and seek continuous improvement.
- Work as a member of the team seeking to understand other departments the solutions they offer and the relationship to servicing customers.
