Automotive Technician

Duties:
- Routine scheduled maintenance
- Vehicle inspections
- Diagnosis and repair of engines transmissions steering systems braking systems suspension systems A/C systems electrical systems etc.
- Complete repairs correctly and efficiently passing all quality standards set forth by the dealership
- Adhere and comply to all company safety policies and procedures
- Effectively communicate with Parts Department Service Advisors and Dispatch regarding status of repair orders
- Maintain a clean safe and productive work area and follow proper disposal protocols for waste products
- Timely completion of Ford service certifications and continuing education courses as directed by service management
Experience:
- MUST HAVEat least 5 years of verifiable automotive technician/mechanic experience in an automotive dealership or automotive service industry business
- Candidates must possess a sufficient range or personally-owned automotive repair tools in good working condition
- Working knowledge of a wide range of automotive repair shop equipment such as tire and wheel equipment alignment systems diagnostic equipment A/C recovery and charging equipment etc.
- Professional appearance
- Team attitude charismatic and must work well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Exceptional verbal written and in-person communication skills
- Strong references
- Excellent work ethic punctual and do it right the first time attitude
- Submit to and successfully complete MVR background check and pre-employment drug test
- Valid drivers license with exceptional driving record
