Job Description
Maxwell Consultancy are working with an established global engineering business in their search for Welders. These are full - time permanent positions working from their state of the art facility in Glasgow. The business isgoing from strength to strength and have an extremely healthy order book. Making vital componentsfor the Oil & Gas Nuclear and Water industries.
Whatsrequired
- Apprenticeship / time -served Welder
- TIG MIG and MMA welding processes (training provided)
- Pipework welder
- Pipefitter experiencebeneficial but not essential
- ASME IX BS EN 15609/15614 Level considered.
- Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and to planned schedule as directed by line manager
- Working to WPSs Health and safety and Welds up to Xray Quality
- Work closely with NDT department
What to expect
37 contractual basic hours per week
Regular overtime available 1.5 weekdays and then 1.66 weekend
Pension 6% employer contribution 4% employee
Life Cover 3 x salary subject to joining the pension
Manufacturing Bonus 3% of salary if site manufacturing targets hit and paid quarterly
Holidays 33 days including statutory holidays with the option to buy an additional 3 days or sell 3 days back to the company
Working hours 7.45am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 11.45am on Fridays
