Job Title:

Customer Experience Representative

Primary Purpose:

To advance the mission and vision of The Fine Arts Association by providing excellent customer experience to all persons.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs all aspects of customer experience by providing information and assisting clients with questions and challenges.
  • Answers phones and emails and takes appropriate actions and disseminates messages accordingly.
  • Enrolls students for all classes and lessons.
  • Contacts families on waiting lists for classes and lessons when openings become available.
  • Receives payments for classes lessons gift certificates materials etc.
  • Performs opening and closing duties including balancing of daily receivables.
  • Obtain an understanding of the history of the organization and be able to give tours.
  • Contacts faculty when their first student cancels.
  • Contacts students for faculty absences.
  • Assists with organization closing procedures during inclement weather or emergency conditions.
  • Processes ticket sales quickly and efficiently.
  • Engages in genuine conversation with patrons to create a welcoming atmosphere and feeling of belonging.

Additional duties as assigned by the Manager of Customer Experience and Retention

Lines of Communication:

The Customer Experience Associate reports to the Manager of Customer Experience and Retention.

Classification:

Part time non-exempt hourly employee

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Working knowledge of Outlook Word Excel Database programs and the Internet
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends or evenings
  • Self-starter.
  • Experience selling and adding on to sales.

Necessary Soft Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to follow established procedures
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
  • Ability to be flexible and resistant to stress
  • Ability to approach customers with good tact and good judgment
  • Desire to work in a team approach environment evidenced by past leadership success
