The Opportunity:
Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers. As a Field Engineering Specialist you will:
showcase your expertise in technical repair for Roche assigned product lines
offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory
provide routine technical support on-site service and repair of Roche products
serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance
diagnose and resolve mechanical hardware software and system failures
document all activities contribute to quality improvement and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction
This is a field-based role - the territory is withinthe San Francisco peninsula East Bay & South Bay areas.
Travel: travel requirement in Indianapolis for formal training and co-travel within Northern California/Reno and Oregon areas for training purposes.
Who You Are:
Field Engineering Specialist
High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience
2 years of experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software or networking/wireless networking or equivalent level of competency attained through appropriate training curriculum or Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Chemistry or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work after hours provide weekend and holiday support on a rotated basis within an assigned territory and/or geographic region and be on call 24/7 during rotation
Good written/verbal communication organization and prioritization skill
Highly effective customer service skills which includes a positive attitude helpful customer interaction and maintenance of ongoing customer relationships
Knowledge of basic chemistry

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $82000-153000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
