Job Description

Salary/Position Classification

  • $15.00 Hourly Non-Exempt
  • 30 hours per week; summer position only
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability: No

Purpose of Position

To have an experienced dissector prepare necessary anatomical prosecutions for classroom educational use.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out necessary dissections
  • Plan and prep for necessary dissections
  • Clean up after dissections and responsibly care for donors and tools

Required Competencies

Dissection experience and skills
Communication skills
Ability to flip donor with minor assistance
Follow safety rules and promote safe behavior
Report incidents and near misses to supervisor or Office of Safety within 24 hours

Minimum Requirements

  • Active experience in dissection of human donors
  • Successful completion of at least five units of UND SMHS year one/Phase 1 medical education or a UND SMHS health sciences program equivalent
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Past coursework in human anatomy
Able to have flexible schedule
Current student at SMHS
