You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailProvide day-to-day operational support for the data center ensuring all hardware and infrastructure are maintained and functioning optimally.
Deliver basic hardware support including manual power cycling of devices and replacing hot-swappable components as requested.
Use ServiceNow to create changes CTASKs update statuses and close changes upon completion.
Proactively monitor ServiceNow for alerts incidents and tasks ensuring timely communication with third-party vendors and internal clients.
Offer guidance on technical project requirements related to physical provisioning power cooling and logical network connectivity.
Develop rack elevation plans and patching schematics using Excel and Visio for copper and fiber connectivity.
Perform patching racking and stacking of equipment following internal best practices and IMAC processes.
Install and test physical patching to equipment dress and label cables according to standards.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries storage and update ticketing systems for material control.
Conduct daily housekeeping checks report noncompliance issues hardware alerts and track them until resolution.
Manage access control processes for the data center including raising request tickets for authorized approvals.
Respond to emergency callouts within 1 hour when required.
Minimum 3 years experience working in an in-house data center environment.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including hardware support beyond basic manual power cycling.
Proficiency in ServiceNow for creating and managing changes tasks and incidents.
Excellent knowledge of physical data center provisioning including power cooling and logical network connectivity.
Experience creating rack elevation plans and patching schematics using Excel and Visio.
Familiarity with patching racking and stacking best practices including IMAC processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel Word Outlook and Teams.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally negotiate and resolve problems.
Flexible approach able to work weekdays 9 am 5 pm in Singapore with occasional requirements to support project work after 7 pm and on weekends.
Proactive mindset to continuously improve services and processes.
Emergency callout requires attendance at the data center within 1 hour when needed.
Occasional requirement to cover workloads at the customers site.
