Job Description

Group Manager Employee Relations Governance Risk & Compliance
Location: Melbourne
Employment Type: 3-Month Max-Term Contract (Full-Time)

As part of our continued focus on integrity compliance and people-first leadership we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Group Manager Employee Relations Governance Risk and Compliance to join our Industrial Relations team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role

This short-term leadership role is critical in supporting Crowns employee relations governance risk and compliance frameworks. You will lead key compliance initiatives support internal audits and ensure alignment with industrial instruments and legislation. Its a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-profile role during a pivotal time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and enhance ER governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Lead internal audits risk assessments and remediation initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on wage compliance and legislative changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Legal Risk Payroll and P&C teams.
  • Engage with regulators unions and external bodies to ensure effective communication and compliance.

What Youll Bring

  • Deep expertise in employee relations and industrial compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act HIGA Interpretation of Enterprise Agreements and other related industrial legislation.
  • Experience leading compliance projects in complex regulated environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A strategic pragmatic mindset with a focus on outcomes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Employment Law Industrial Relations or a related field.
