US Farathane is hiring for a Sustainability Analyst working on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Auburn Hills. Summary:The Sustainability Analyst leads and supports our environmental social and governance (ESG) initiatives across product development supply chain and operations. Sustainability Analyst will have a strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and sustainability standards and will contribute to our strategy to reduce environmental impact improve energy efficiency and support corporate sustainability goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Collect analyze and report data related to sustainability metrics (e.g. GHG emissions energy consumption material usage recycling rates etc.).
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards (e.g. ISO 14001 GHG Protocol CDP).
- Support lifecycle assessments (LCAs) of vehicles components and materials to evaluate environmental impacts.
- Collaborate with engineering product development and supply chain teams to implement sustainable practices.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track progress toward sustainability goals.
- Benchmark sustainability performance against peers and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with preparing internal and external sustainability disclosures and ESG reports.
- Stay informed about emerging sustainability trends regulations and technologies in the automotive industry.
- Support supplier engagement initiatives related to sustainability including risk assessments and audits.
- Ensure reporting is current on all major platforms- EcoVadis CDP M2030 SAQ and other various GHG surveys.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - At least two years experience in sustainability role.
- Previous work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
