Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of client submissions discern coverage requirements and formulate effective marketing strategies.
- Engage in meticulous market research to identify suitable markets solicit and assess quotes and present compelling proposals to clients.
- Spearhead negotiations with carriers and underwriters regarding coverage pricing terms and conditions ensuring favorable outcomes.
- Oversee the preparation and issuance of binders policies endorsements invoices and other essential documentation.
- Ensure steadfast adherence to company policies procedures and regulatory mandates throughout the placement process.
- Exhibit adept communication and professionalism in interactions with clients carriers and colleagues fostering collaborative relationships.
- Cultivate enduring positive relationships with clients carriers and colleagues to fortify the companys position in the market.
- Remain abreast of industry trends market dynamics and product innovations to inform strategic decision-making.
- Participate actively in training and development initiatives actively pursuing professional certifications and designations to enhance expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business finance insurance or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated proficiency with a minimum of 3 years of experience in wholesale insurance placement brokerage or underwriting.
- Possession of a current insurance license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and markets coupled with strong analytical capabilities.
- Exceptional negotiation communication and presentation skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail accuracy and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
