We are looking for a seasoned Market Analyst to enhance our strategic planning and decision-making. In this role you will develop forecast models analyse market performance data and generate insights to drive sales strategies and customer engagement. Your work will involve collaborating with commercial and finance on strategic assumptions while also maintaining market reports and dashboards. Other key duties include managing the sales incentive process training new team members on analytical tools and overseeing metadata changes with a focus on market definitions and territory structures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing and developing forecast models to inform strategic planning and decision making.
- Collaborate with Business Unit Managers Business Unit Directors and Finance on key assumptions and outputs as well as building out various scenarios to support decision making.
- Analyse in-market performance data to identify trends patterns and areas for improvement.
- Utilise data analytics tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Develop and maintain market reports and dashboards to inform strategic planning and decision making.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to provide insights that enhance sales strategies and customer engagement.
- Support other duties including ad hoc reporting.
- In support of driving in-field performance manage the sales incentive process of setting targets and updating actuals in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
- Onboarding and training of new starters on analytical tools and data assets.
- In collaboration with Data Governance Analyst manage metadata changes for market definitions and territory structures (annually or ad-hoc as required).
- Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVies policies and procedures.
- Proactively participate in AbbVies WHS programs adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to AbbVies internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
- Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties as requested.
Qualifications :
- Tertiary qualifications in a STEM subject or relevant discipline.
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills are essential
- Strong communications skills with a particular attention to detail
- Advanced Excel including forecast modelling.
- Working knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI Qlik Tableau Looker.
- Experience with R Python or SQL desirable.
- Ability to analyse complex data sets and provide recommendations.
