Position Summary: The Machine Operator Production Machining CNC is responsible for operating multi-purpose numerically controlled machines measuring parts and making necessary offset modifications to maintain quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail and a mechanical mindset to support the daily machining operations. Key Responsibilities: - Review setup sheets and specifications to determine setup operations and part dimensions.
- Assemble and position cutting tools in machine spindles or magazines as directed.
- Operate machines by activating controls and monitoring for accuracy and performance.
- Change cutting tools and adjust clamps as necessary.
- Observe machine operation and inspect workpieces using micrometers dial indicators and gauges.
- Compare finished parts to blueprints and report discrepancies to the Supervisor.
- Perform other customer- or product-driven duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements: - 6 months to 1 year of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Essential Skills: - Blueprint reading
- Machining operations

- SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- Proficient use of gauges micrometers and calipers
- Background in CNC programming
