Job Description

P6 Primavera Scheduler - Remote - Contract

Your Day to Day

Responsible for all project controls scheduling activities for moderate to high complexity project a portfolio of low complexity projects or for a subset of high complexity projects or programs scope. Lead teams through all phases of a moderate complexity project. Serve as a project controls subject matter expert focusing on project scheduling. Must have advanced skills in communication cross-cultural awareness and leadership.

  1. Coordinate required tasks/deadlines. Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management
  2. Initiate and plan all controls aspects of a project which includes but is not limited to project baselines and risk registers
  3. Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced and overall project performance is optimized. Apply schedule cost and/or risk analytics to confirm validity of plan
  4. Lead schedule cost and/or risk activities. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements to functional groups. Process subsequent changes following an integrated change control process
  5. Review project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope
  6. Promote teamwork and effective communication which includes maintenance and dissemination of project metrics to ensure team customer and all stakeholders are kept informed of project status
  7. Develop or oversee project databases systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members
  8. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement lessons learned and risk avoidance for future work
  9. Serve as project controls point of contact for internal customers in support of the project
  10. Integrate projects objectives and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern
  11. Identify assess and implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve overall project performance
  12. Create and administer lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate youd bring the following to the team:

  1. Bachelors degree in Project Management Engineering Business Accounting Construction Management or related technical discipline
  2. 5 years project controls/scheduling experience in the position functional/technical area
