Shelf Merchandiser
This position requires the tasks to be performed as outlined below at a commissary store in a retail environment.
- Replenish shelves end caps and displays with products daily
- Straighten merchandise to give a neat full appearance
- Rotate products on the shelves LIFO
- Move product from the warehouse to the sales floor
- Dispose of all packaging and boxes for our brands
- Consolidate and organize pallets in warehouse
- Check for and remove expired product from shelves
- Maintain a clean work area in warehouse
- Observe companys safety rules and guidelines
- Know company brands and its products
- Perform other tasks as assigned
The shelf merchandiser position is a physically demanding position. While preforming the duties of this job one is regularly required to spend a significant amount of time at work standing walking lifting heavy objects.
In addition it requires one to do a great deal of stretching and bending often in awkward positions and require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Generally works indoors in a typical grocery store environment. Is exposed to drafts heat (e.g. combination controlled temperatures/climates and weather conditions. Walk in freezers and chilled areas) noise and dust.

Night Shift Weekends and Holidays
Pay rate is $18-$20 and 15 week.
