Shared Imaging is currently looking to hire an Imaging Technologist Aide in a PRN capacity. Coverage areas are: Newark Jersey City Holmdel Lakewood NJ.
Work Schedule:
- Coverage needs are as needed Monday through Friday occassional Saturday
- Start time is 7-7:30am
- 8 hours/week
- Sites needing coverage (single site coverage or open to any of the following sites):
- Newark - Beth Israel Medical Center
- Jersey City - Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital
- Holmdel - Bayshore Community Hospital
- Lakewood - Monmouth Medical Center South Campus
The ideal candidate must possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Anatomy and physiology understanding preferred
- Patient care experience strongly preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
- Hard working detail-oriented and committed to outstanding patient care
- Team player with a positive attitude
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and directing patients
- Confirming and registering patients
- Verifying all necessary information is available for the test
- Assist in setting up MRI or PET/CT scanning rooms
- Stocking and maintaining patient dressing rooms scan rooms and control areas
- Ordering supplies
- Other responsibilities as directed
