PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Design and deploy Quality Control Plan per manufacturing process to support an external demerit at 0 for Alstom Customer and the Zero Defect Program

Accountability & Authorities
- PIQ manager profile Process Industrial Quality manager (Masters degree in engineering)
- Manage Industrial Quality activities in relevant workshop (IQ team process KPI).
- Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework.
- Participate or delegate customer joint Inspections.
- Participate to process FMEA definition.
- Build implement & regularly update Quality Control Plans with REX of previous project execution.
- Ensure customer approval documents validation & compliance of the manufactured products before shipping.
- Perform Line Quality Animation with cross function team.
- Technician profile
- Perform participate to inspections of products (Customer joint inspections included if applicable).
- Manage problem solving.
- Records inspection results in the industrial tools as required & performed follow-up.
- Perform first characterization & manage NCRs for non-compliant products for internal responsibility.
- Have ability to accepts or reject products as defined in the working instructions / Expert support.
- Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspection delegation of control (Training audit ) & Position Quality Animation with EPU manager.
Performance measurements
- Defects per Unit reduction (10 % per year) and External demerit objective.
- CONQ objective (for CONQ S1.1 & S1.3).
- APSYS score for Industrial scope.
Educational Requirements / Experience
Mandatory:
- Actively working towards associates degree or have obtained.
Desirable:
- Bachelor degree in engineering (electromechanical electrical material mechanical) or equivalent for PIQ.
- Associate degree for Technician (ex. equivalent of BTS in France 2 years technical degree after high school)
Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
Mandatory:
- Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.
- Welding experience
Desirable:
- 5 years experiences in Industrial.
- Project management or equivalent.
Competencies & Skills
- Technical mastering of railway products.
- International mindset & fluent in English.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
