What Youll Do:
As the HR Recruiter you will be responsible for identifying attracting evaluating and hiring top talent. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of talent for critical roles that can swiftly convert to employees as needs are communicated ensuring GSM hiring practices are followed and compliant with regulations.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Utilizes various recruiting resources to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline to reduce time-to-fill for key roles.
- Communicates GSMs brand in an effective manner to convert candidates to applicants.
- Schedules and coordinates interviews in a timely manner to ensure a good candidate experience.
- Screens candidates through phone interviews and reference checks to ensure strong candidate alignment.
- Supports applicants through the hiring process with consistent and timely communication to ensure applicant satisfaction.
- Writes and negotiates job offers in accordance with requisitions to ensure they align with budget goals and candidate expectations.
- Participates in the onboarding and orientation process to ensure a smooth transition to employment.
- Maintains applicant tracking system and masters recruiting tools to ensure accurate reporting and process optimization.
- Adapts recruiting strategies as needed to fit organizational needs.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Business Human Resource Administration or similar related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience: 3 years of experience recruiting for hourly and professional roles within a manufacturing environment preferred. Will need a general understanding of the administrative aspects of employment and employee benefits.
- Certifications: SHRM or PHR certification would be a plus.
- Functional Skills: Excellent skills in planning prioritization and organization; Must possess superior attention to detail and follow-through skills; Results-oriented; strong problem-solving and time-management skills. Familiar with setting up priorities goals and metrics to track success.
- Technology Skills: Strong aptitude with computers ERP systems Microsoft ATS systems and other recruiting resources such as job boards LinkedIn Indeed etc.
- Communication Skills:Excellent written & verbal communication skills able to present to individuals and groups.
- Leadership/ Behaviors: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain an optimistic and supportive attitude and maintain the strictest confidence in all matters regarding the companys operations its employees its financial matters and personal matters of which the employee may become aware in the course of their work. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential to this position.

Other Important Information:
Pay/Salary: Salaried position based on proven expertise.

Reports To: HR Manager
Core Hours: 7:45 am - 5:15 pm (schedule can be flexible; will work approx. 8 - 9 hours within this timeframe)
Typical Work Week: M-F; occasional weekend work where required; 45 - 50 hours a week on average

Travel: Limited
Work Environment: Standard office environment (may include individual open or shared office spaces); occasional visits to manufacturing areas as needed.
