You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailReporting to the Manager Opportunity and Belonging the Accessibility Advisor is responsible for ensuring that all NSCAD students with documented disabilities and recognized needs are provided with appropriate learning support services to meet their educational goals. These students may be those living with learning disabilities mental health conditions mobility or functional disabilities sensory or communication disabilities and/or neurological disabilities. To ensure successful educational outcomes for students experiencing disabilities the Accessibility Advisors responsibility includes assessment of needs preparation and maintenance of records recommendation of intervention strategies liaising with students faculty and the Office of Student Experience (OSE) to provide academic accommodations and managing of a caseload of students.
