Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for our companys computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Monitor system performance and ensure that systems are running efficiently
- Collaborate with our IT team to implement new systems and upgrades
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our companys building automation systems and networks for our team in Raleigh Durham and the surrounding areas.
- Work closely with our IT team to provide technical support and resolve any issues that arise.
- Ensure that our systems are set up properly running efficiently and effectively minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Utilize your strong technical skills to provide technical support and troubleshoot issues with our companys building automation systems and networks.

- Problem-solve and work well in a team environment will be essential to your success in this role.
- Your knowledge of industry certifications and experience with building automation platforms will be beneficial in implementing new systems and upgrades.
Skills & Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma.
- 2 years experience with Controls and Building Automation
- 2 years of experience with Distech and Honeywell
- 2 years of experience with Niagara and Tridium
- Understanding of computer operating systems including MS Office Suite.
- Ability to configure and debug computer and networking issues.
- Experience with programming.
- Ability to work with electronic equipment (volt meters amp meters oscilloscopes).
- Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and electronic circuitry.
- Working understanding of AC power circuitry (120VAC and greater).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and address issues empathetically and creatively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree in HVAC Electronics or Building Automation.
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical studies.
- 4 years of experience Controls and Building Automation
- 4 years of experience with Distech and Honeywell
- 4 years of experience with Niagara and Tridium
- Expertise in HVAC operations Controls and/or Building Automation within a facility.
- Deep understanding of DDC or special systems for Level 2 and Senior System Specialists.
- N4 Certification
Essential Job Functions:
- Be able to lift and carry ladders drawings personal computers material etc.
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Be able to spend significant time standing and walking on construction sites.
- Be able to climb several flights of stairs or ladders throughout a typical day on a construction site.
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record which per Climatecs vehicle policy allows the individual to drive on company business.
- Be physically able to kneel stoop and crawl.
- Must have accurate color vision and maintain clear visual acuity to safely and effectively perform job responsibilities.
- This role involves frequent work in outdoor settings mechanical or equipment rooms and potentially extreme weather conditions. Regular exposure includes live voltage moving mechanical parts heavy machinery and wet or humid environments. Work may also involve elevated or precarious locations exposure to airborne particles fumes electrical hazards and vibrations. Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals extreme temperatures (hot or cold) and loud noise levels is to be expected.
