Founded in 1998 The Oaks Academy is a Christ-centered school that exists to provide a rich classical education to children of diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds preparing them to succeed in a rigorous secondary educational program and to demonstrate spiritual social and emotional maturity. Currently on three campuses serving over 1000 students The Oaks Academy will continue to grow to serve more children in three beautiful historic buildings.
Job Summary

The Advancement Associate supports the Advancement team and these ideas through prospect research CRM-based relationship management and execution of stewardship and donor engagement strategies. This position is central to how we care for our community of supporters ensuring efficient and effective individual outreach timely follow-up meaningful touchpoints and well-informed team engagement across all giving audiences.
Working within Veracross and alongside a passionate Advancement team the Advancement Associate will strengthen the schools relationship-building efforts through behind-the-scenes systems management personalized stewardship and strategic support. This is an opportunity to join a high-functioning team of experts in their respective roles who strive to implement best practices in philanthropy and meet current and future needs through generosity.
Responsibilities
Benefits
12 years of professional experience in fundraising development or relationship management
Strong research and writing skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience working within a CRM platform (Veracross preferred) and Google Workspace tools
Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness
Warm professional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to team collaboration
Devout Christian who is a member of associated with or seeking to be associated with a Christ-centered community of faith or a church
Demonstrates and represents a commitment to the mission and values of The Oaks Academy in all personal and professional activities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with donor research platforms (e.g. iWave DonorSearch WealthEngine)
Familiarity with stewardship strategies and donor engagement planning
Previous experience supporting major gift efforts donor events or campaign logistics
Exposure to independent school nonprofit or mission-driven organization environments
