Location:Regina Depot120 Hodsman Road Regina SK
Working Hours:40 Weekly hours (guaranteed)
Scheduled Shift:Varies dependent upon need open availability required
Employment Contract:Permanent
Hourly Wage:Starting wage of$36.08 (as per collective agreement)
The Linehaul Driver Pickup & Delivery drives to/from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (e.g. tractor-trailers 5-ton vehicles shunt trucks etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g. pallet jacks forklifts etc.) to pick up and deliver freight to/from customer locations and meet service level agreements. Job requires working in shifts.
Drive to/from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (e.g. tractor-trailers 5-ton vehicles shunt trucks etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g. pallet jacks forklifts etc.) to pick up and deliver freight to/from warehouse or package depot and/or customer locations and meet service level agreements.
Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch
Pick up deliver and load/unload freight at customer locations
Scan freight upon pickup and delivery
Conduct vehicle inspections (tractor - 20-minute pre-trip 15-minute post-trip; trailer 15-minute pre-trip per trailer)
Class 1 drivers license with a clean driving record
3 years of Class 1 driving experience
