Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Outpatient Orthopedics is seeking a dedicated and skilled outpatient rthopedic RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. Our nurses manage all aspects of the presurgical screening and education including cognitive screening detailed medication review social determinants of health and post operative management. The RN has scheduled post-op face to face visits. Post-op visits may involve staple removal wound management nutritional assessment and medication/pain management review.

RNs partner with the APPs and surgeons. Much of the patient work is done over the phone or through a patient portal but care is also provided in virtual visits and face to face care.

• Current Washington State licensure as an RN
• CPR certification is required every two years
• Bachelors of Science of Nursing Preferred
• Strong patient assessment skills ability to work collaboratively in team setting current working knowledge of electronic medical records.
