Job Description
Our office Metroplex Endodontics & Microsurgery - Duncanville is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice.
As an Insurance Coordinator you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance coverage while delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Your Responsibilities:
- Verify patients dental insurance coverage and benefits.
- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations for treatments.
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs.
- Submit accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via mail.
- Follow up on outstanding insurance claims appeals and denials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies and industry changes.
- Collaborate with the front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient information and treatment codes.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurance-related inquiries and concerns.
- Educate patients on available payment options for uncovered services.
As one of the essential members of our office you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.
Your Background
Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for dental care and exceptional customer service We are currently seeking a Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth insurance operations for our patients. As a vital part of our practice you will be responsible for managing insurance claims facilitating billing processes and providing top-notch support to our patients regarding their insurance-related inquiries. You also have the following:
- 3 years of previous experience in a dental insurance coordinating role or similar
- Dental experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a dental insurance coordinator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to navigate insurance claim discrepancies and denials.
- High level of professionalism and a patient-centric attitude.

Position Base Pay Range
$20 - $25 USD
