As part of Culinary Tech within WWGST org we focus on building automation for the prepared food production for both Store Kitchens and a new formats of centralized Kitchen facilities serving tasty/safe food to our customers. We invest in building unified tech primitives for recipe management and food production serving all banners ie Whole Foods Amazon Fresh and Amazon GO.

You ideally have experience leading programs with S-Team/SVP/VP visibility and are excited to think-out-of-the box to solve complex problems.
Key job responsibilities
The key responsibilities are:
1. Invent design and implement engineering solutions to complex problems throughout the global Amazon grocery stores network.
2. Coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment network. Tackle complex challenges and break them down into actionable steps delivering results efficiently.
3. Collaborate with other teams and operational partners to generate high quality cost effective solutions
4. Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing negotiating and communicating with internal and external business partners.
5. Provide technical leadership for large-scale software architectural operational projects.
6. Develop and lead high-level strategic initiatives that will shape the future of our grocery sites
- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
