Full-time Any Subject Specialism Pastoral-Focused Role
A successful and inclusive South London secondary school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Head of Year to join their pastoral leadership team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher with a strong academic background and a proven track record in pastoral care.

Head of Year Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the behaviour wellbeing and personal development of a designated year group
- Support and guide a team of form tutors to deliver consistent high-quality pastoral care
- Use data effectively to monitor attendance behaviour and progress implementing targeted interventions
- Build positive relationships with students families and external agencies to ensure wraparound support
- Promote a culture of high expectations respect and ambition across the year group
The successful Head of Year must be a strong empathetic leader with excellent communication pastoral care and organisational skills.
