We are currently seeking general production operators in our Carberry MB plant.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow good manufacturing practices
- Assist in driving continuous improvement in the production facility
- Measure and report equipment settings
- Complete and apply all aspects of Operator Asset Care (O.A.C.) in the work area
- Cleaning and inspection line checklists
- Meet or exceed required sanitation standard for work area: including scraping scales sweeping floor emptying damaged bags of product to waste barrels
- Operate equipment in a manner to produce high quality products and report any equipment problems to supervision
- Ensure timely accurate records are maintained
- Check and record information and input into computer
- Clean-up/shut down duties: including deep cleaning on specific lines sweeping air hosing chemical use high pressure hosing
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Requirements:
- Push/pull such as rolls of poly high pressure hoses garbage containers vacuum pallets and cases
- Lifting weight approximately 25 44 lbs. up to heights of 6 ft.
- Stair/ladder climbing as required
- Bending crouching
- Standing for extended periods
- Continuous walking
