This position is located within the Westinghouse facility in Shoreview MN about 20-minutes outside of Minneapolis. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visas for this opportunity.
Your Day-to-Day:
A Receiving/Shipping Specialisthandles incoming and outgoing packages in a warehouse. Job duties include tracking inventory keeping accurate records packaging and weighing items developing shippers printing shipping labels and postage inspecting goods received for damage and distributing products to other departments.
- Perform material handling duties as needed.
- Receive material including performing proper SAP transactions and initial inspection.
- Develop Shippers (Domestic and International).
- Perform inventory duties as needed.
- Package/crate product.
- Operate Forklifts Overhead cranes and chop saws.
- Interface with Project Managers.
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate you will bring the following to the team:
- 3 years of experience.
- Ability to read and understand contract language.
- Ability to prepare shippers accurately.
- Forklift Certification.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- SAP knowledge.
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
- Able to work independently and with a team.
