Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipment Management: Handle all tasks related to inbound and outbound shipments including updating shipping logs completing paperwork accurately labeling materials and resolving any shipping issues.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment; move boxes up to 55 pounds and drums up to 250 pounds to and from skids.
- Inspection: Perform inspections of inbound deliveries and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse ensuring proper storage of finished goods and raw materials.
- Material Handling: Band shrink-wrap items on skids pack and repack materials as per customer specifications and assist in transferring products between facilities.
- Inventory Management: Sort organize and document inventory ensuring accurate records in the Colors system and aiding in the yearly inventory.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of shipping receiving and warehouse procedures.
- Good math skills including converting kilograms to pounds.
