Basic Job Functions:
NTP-Gallatin is actively seeking a dynamic individual for the guard position located in our team demonstrates a firm commitment to taking care our customers and a strong belief inwork-life balance to maintain a safe positive and engaging environment.
1. Ensure compliance with all rules regulations and company guidelines regarding the safety ofvisitors and carriers coming onto our facility.
2. Communication and coordination with other departments relating to deliveries and visitorappointments.
3. Communication with loading and receiving crews for timely coordination of incoming andoutgoing loads.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Aptitude to learn various computer applications to support the shipment of finished goods.
Highly detail oriented organized and capable of working in a steady-paced environment.
3 years with background in a security guard role.
