Job Description
CAPITAL Automotive of Greensboro is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Automotive Rental Agent to join our Subaru and Hyundai teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with their car rental needs providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth rental process. The Automotive Rental Agent plays a key role in delivering a positive experience for our customers and maintaining the efficiency of the rental process.

Automotive Rental Agent Responsibilities:
- Greet customers professionally and assist them with their car rental requirements
- Provide information on available rental options pricing and additional services
- Confirm vehicle availability and inform customers about rental policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-rental inspections of vehicles noting any existing damage and ensuring cleanliness
- Collect rental fees and deposits process payments and provide customers with receipts
- Assist customers with loading and unloading luggage or navigating features of the rental vehicle
- Process final payments and provide customers with receipts
- Offer additional services upgrades and insurance options to customers
- Other duties assigned
Automotive Rental Agent Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service hospitality or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using computer systems and rental software for reservation processing
- Ability to handle customer issues and find solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Basic sales skills to promote additional services and upgrades
- Willingness to adapt to changing customer needs and operational requirements
- Must pass pre-employment background screenings
