Job Description
The Position Proposition:
Quality Specialist are independent assessors who evaluate operations work performance. They work independent of the operations department and provide performance data thorough field audits to validate customer requirements have been met. The Quality Specialist will support the Operations department by providing digital images and detailed information as necessary to document conditions present in the work environment and the final product provided to the customer.
Location: within the Tampa Electric (TECO) service territory.
Role may require additional work hours assisting the Operations department during extreme weather events or natural disasters.
Educational & Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience
- Experience in Electric Distribution Overhead and/or Underground or directional boring
- Thorough knowledge of industry approved T&D work methods and practices
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to interpret job prints / staking sheets
- Must be willing to work outdoors which will consist of uneven terrain and occasional exposure to poison ivy oak sumac venomous snakes and insects.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft TEAMS Outlook Excel and SharePoint and other applications
- Reside no further than 50 miles from Tampa
Safety and/or Training Certifications are a Plus.
