Job Description
Job Type: Temporary 6-month
Hours: 40
Shift: ALL IN PERSON Flexible start time 8-5
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes with accuracy and accountability
*Refine and document accounting workflows ensuring they align with broader corporate standards
*Lead process improvement initiatives to move beyond legacy/family-business habits (this is how weve always done it)
*Leverage newly implemented Epicor ERP system (go-live in December from Quickbooks) to drive efficiency and control
*Provide support during monthly close and improve process
*Previous experience with Epicor ERP system
* Experience in manufacturing or plant accounting environment preferred
*Confident assertive and comfortable challenging status quo to improve operations
*Ability to work independently while engaging the team and mentoring when needed
*Strong communication and organizational skills - ready to take ownership from day one
