Job Description

Tinkbird Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking a BC General surgeon to provide locums coverage. Coverage Needed: 6/17/2025; 6/19/2025; 6/25/2025 CREDENTIALED PROVIDERS ONLY IN THE ECU HEALTH SYSTEM7/02/2025 (7am - 7am)Follow up in clinic for OR cases -preferred /optional one day a week Opportunity Highlights:Routine general surgeryBoth Inpatient & Outpatient Provider will not be required to remain on-site while on call must respond within 30 minutesEstablished practiceExperienced nursing staffOR resources include 5 operating rooms and a Davinci robotStrong hospitalist team for inpatient supportED averages 70 visits/dayAverage # of patients/day/provider 15 patients/day for clinicAverage # of hospital admissions/day: 12Average # of hospital admissions/night: 1-2Surgical Cases per/month: 70No backup coverage in ER requiredProvider will be responsible for all general surgery admissionsNo ICU/Critical Care ProceduresOnsite radiology and anesthesia supportLevel III traumaSupport from nearby level 1 trauma center142-bed hospitalBLS and ACLS RequiredAbout Us TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is a locum tenens and permanent placement healthcare recruiting firm that is bridging the gap between healthcare companies and high-quality candidates.
