Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage accounts payable and receivable functions across multiple entities. This role is responsible for processing invoices reconciling bank deposits handling intercompany transactions and supporting monthly close activities. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting principles experience with accounting software (preferably Sage/Intacct) and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices contract payments expense reports and credit card batches
- Perform account and bank deposit reconciliations
- Monitor AP aging reports and ensure timely payments
- Enter and match purchase orders to invoices
- Record intercompany transactions and assist with monthly close and accruals
- Support Controller and CFO with general accounting tasks and reporting
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of AP/AR processes general ledger and month-end close
- Experience with Sage/Intacct and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail communication and collaboration skills
