About the role
The City is looking for enthusiastic Food and Beverage Attendants to join our Events Sports and Cultural Services team. Enjoy working across our 3x state-of-the-art sporting venues; Coffs Coast Sport and Leisure Park Precinct Coffs International Stadium and Wiigulga Sports Complex.
As a Food and Beverage Attendant you will take pride in delivering high standards of customer service while assisting with food and beverage tasks. Key responsibilities include processing orders providing service during events handling cash transactions and promoting products all while maintaining compliance with regulations and contributing to a safe working environment.
Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred. Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.
We encourage applicants under the age of 18 to apply with the understanding that they will not be required to work in the bar areas (no serving of alcohol) or hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate until they reach 18 years of age. Your skills in food service will be highly valued in the meantime! We believe this provides a fantastic opportunity for juniors to start their careers and grow within our organisation.
This role is required to undertake work on weekends or after hours based on scheduled events and in accordance with operational requirements.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in Food and Beverage service or a similar role.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Demonstrated experience in Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
- Willingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team.
