Job Description:
The Senior Supervisor Aircraft Maintenance is responsible for leading an HDL team consisting of union mechanics to complete aircraft modification for monitoring budgets organizing daily tasks to meet milestones understanding IMS schedule and driving the overall performance on aircraft modification projects. Establishing and tracking day-to-day production requirements that includes budget safety quality and performance. Team will consist of between eight to twelve hourly mechanics.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to interpret Government FAA and Company Aviation Safety regulations.
- Ability to readinterpret mechanical drawings electrical schematics and general aviation knowledge.
- Experience in conflict resolution team building and coaching skills
- Possess a working knowledge of military commercial or general aviation aircraft.
- Ability to perform analytical analysis and apply risk mitigation techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Active Secret security clearance which requires US citizenship.
- Active FAA Certified A&P license (Airframe and Powerplant)
- Minimum of 2 years supervisorial experience with general aviation military aircraft or manufacturing.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Boeing Wide/Narrow body Gulfstream platform experience
- VIP or comms upgrade experience
- Lean or Six-Sigma Training
