Description:
Columbia Construction is seeking Project Managers for multiple openings at the company.
Job Duties:
- Direct weekly Owner Subcontractor and Coordination Meetings;
- Collaborate with field and estimating to prepare the Scope of Work;
- Buyout Subcontractors in accordance with the Project Specifications and Schedule of Work;
- Manage and track cost-to-date on a weekly basis;
- Initiate budget set-up monthly budget updates and cost to complete reports. Prepare a final budget update prior to closing out the project;
- Prepare and submit monthly Requisition according to contract; Secure payment in accordance with the Owners Contract; Mentor and develop Assistant PMs;
- Manage subcontractors in conjunction with the Project Superintendent; Support RFP process and response;
- Manage quality by meeting with the field team for regular inspections and proper procurement management to allow adequate installation;
- Assist in implementing a Project Specific Safety Program and Coordinate with safety department and field team on high-risk project tasks;
- Participate in training programs
Must have Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field.
Must have 3 years of construction management experience. Experience must include the following: working with Microsoft Project P6 for scheduling and StarBuilder or Sage for Accounting
