Job Description
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in machine setup. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating lathes mills and multi-axis machines. Horizontal Mill experience is a plus. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes mills and multi-axis machines according to technical specifications and blueprints.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings schematics and specifications to determine machining processes and sequences.
- Conduct machine tool setup including selecting and installing appropriate tooling fixtures and programs.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve machining processes and efficiency.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues to management.

- Understanding machines practices and monitor operations: watching gauges or other indicators to make sure the machine is working properly.
- Operation and control: controlling operation of equipment or systems.
- Quality control analysis: Learning and using computer-based quality control and production systems to evaluate performance or quality of the product.
- Critical thinking: using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School education or equivalent preferred.
- 3 year of CNC machining and set up experience
- Successful completion of a CNC Machine Operator Training Program would be a plus.
- Must be able to perform machine shop mathematics and machining procedures.

Lifting requirements include but not limited to the following:
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

Salary Range:
$24.00/hour - $34.00/hour
