The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense Space and Security BDS Fabrication St. Louis team is looking for a new manager of the Fabrication Business Integration Team. The team is responsible position is primarily responsible for:
- Identification and successful onboarding of new statement of work
- Program management of certain work statement
- Engagement with key program customers
- Standardization and improvement of onboarding and execution processes
BDS Fab St. Louis has more than 400 teammates that produce 150000 pieces of product annually across 20 programs. Products range in size from tubes smaller than a pinky finger to a composite skins as long as a city bus. We have both high and low volume manufacturing and a large product mix.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects to resolve production concerns
- Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes. Manages develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
- 3 years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers suppliers peers and/or partners)
- 3 years of experience with program management project management business operations and/or experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with schedule and budget management stakeholder communication as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost schedule and requirements are met
- Experience working in Earned Value Management
- Bachelors degree or higher
