What You Can Expect
As a Senior Quantitative Analyst you will report to the Head of Risk. You will leverage AES Clean Energys large-scale renewable and battery storage portfolio to conduct quantitative risk analysis. You will play a pivotal role in assessing the risks related to renewable projects power purchase agreements (PPAs) derivative transactions and congestion products by developing and maintaining statistical models. You will also analyze less liquid products like renewable energy credits (RECs) and capacity and resource adequacy (RA) deals.
Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for creating and owning quantitative models and supporting the infrastructure to drive both short and long-term decision making. Were looking for someone to help take our quantitative modeling and analysis to the next level as we aim to increase the size of our portfolio. Were a collaborative and fast-moving organization. As a team we create systems models and analysis to drive commercial decision making and processes.
