Job Description

Join Amazons Finance Organization as a Tax Program Manager and contribute to impactful domestic and international projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of tax management.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and oversee milestone schedules to ensure project timelines are met.
- Craft meeting agendas and facilitate recurring meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement within internal operations.
- Prepare and distribute executive-level documents to inform strategic decision-making.

A day in the life
Your typical day will involve a blend of strategic planning and operational execution. Youll create meeting agendas participate in project discussions document meeting outcomes and follow up on action items. Additionally youll foster relationships across various departments and take ownership of recurring tasks like updating stakeholder documents and monitoring budgets.

About the team
As a member of the North America Stores Transactional Tax PMO team youll play a crucial role in supporting pivotal business initiatives facilitating internal reorganizations and managing day-to-day operational activities. Our team is committed to innovation and excellence and were looking for someone who shares our passion for making a difference.

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership

- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
