You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Acute Care Services (ACS) / Mobile Crisis Clinician will be part of a team providing 24/7 mobile outreach to those in the community who are in psychiatric crisis. The purpose of this program is to provide immediate interventions to stabilize the crisis in an effort to avoid psychiatric hospitalization. The Mobile Crisis Clinician and the Mobile Crisis Team will work in partnership with police first responders schools and other community stakeholders. This role will report to the Director of Acute Care Services & Mobile Crisis.
Travel: Required both within and outside of our Community Mental Health Center catchment area. Approximately 50-75%.
Clinicians must be available to respond to dispatch requests for the duration of their shift and work beyond their shift as needed based on coverage and dispatch needs.
Masters Degree in Psychology Social Work Counseling Counseling Psychology or a related clinical field from an accredited college or university plus two years relevant experience. Preference given to those who have previous crisis intervention experience or who have a degree that is certifiable or licensable in N.H. The ACS / Mobile Crisis Clinician has at least one year in a degree related internship under the supervision of a psychiatrist doctoral level psychologist a certified/licensed mental health professional or person with equivalent credentials.
