ERP Systems Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

Seeking an junior professional to work within the Finance Systems domain where you will be working directly with Finance users globally collaborating closely with internal technical teams as well as any external partnerships we have.

Key responsibilities include working with the business & IT teams to help deliver support & solutions in-line with the strategic direction of the global finance team and the broader company. You will serve as a key contact for any questions related to D365 Finance and associated integrated solutions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Self-motivated to provide effective support to the user community by triaging system issues and change requests within our ERP & associated systems space.

• Work internally or with the vendor as necessary to resolve issues and implement changes whilst remaining compliant with corporate and IT governance practices.

• Perform routine administrative maintenance of our ERP system including metadata management security ad hoc fixes and upgrades as required.

• Participate in the design development enhancement and testing of system enhancements/configurations

• Understand system interdependencies and collaborate with other internal teams accordingly.

• Help develop test plans as part of our automated testing solution (RSAT) helping to shape the roadmap for testing automation.

• Engage with both business and technical owners to bring the appropriate level of rigor to the development and enhancement of systems.

• Challenges the status quo and identifies innovative solutions to solve problems and improve IT and/or business process.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:

• Degree in Computer Science Accounting or related field preferable.

• Hands on experience supporting Finance ERP solutions preferable.

• Demonstrated ability to work with internal and vendor teams on problem analysis diagnosis testing and solution.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to convey technical concepts in plain language to non-technical personnel.

• Regularly shares information and engages in dialogue with manager and peers

• Looks for opportunities to explore and gain new technical skills
