The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for the part-time position of Adjunct Instructor for the Early Technical College Diesel Powered Equipment Technology class at the Clarksville Campus.

GENERAL DUTIES: The Adjunct Instructor in the Early Technical College Diesel Powered Equipment Technology class is responsible for providing in-person theory and hands-on skills instruction to dual-enrolled high school students to prepare them to become Diesel Powered Equipment Technicians. Areas of instruction include preventive maintenance electrical/electronics brakes drive train suspension and steering diesel engines and HVAC. The Adjunct Instructor must monitor grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the colleges student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; and other duties as assigned. This position is part-time and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. between August and May each year. Scheduled class hours are 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is not a remote work position.
SALARY: $30.00 per hour. Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
