Job Description
Service Technician Rivers Gate/Carrollwood (Middle River MD)
WPM Real Estate Management is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Rivers Gate/Carrollwood in Middle River MD. This role is essential to maintaining the communitys quality and ensuring resident satisfaction.
Position Overview
As a Service Technician you will be responsible for completing maintenance work orders performing preventative maintenance and preparing apartments for new residents. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong problem-solving skills and excellent customer service. Prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred.
Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour (commensurate with experience) plus opportunities for bonuses and allowances.
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM with participation in an on-call rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and perform HVAC maintenance
- Repair and maintain electrical systems
- Hang prep and sand drywall
- Repair and maintain appliances
- Handle plumbing repairs
- Paint apartments and common areas
- Maintain property cleanliness order and safety
- Assist with snow removal
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in plumbing electrical or carpentry
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical issues
- Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 85 lbs
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
- Must be available for on-call emergencies including evenings weekends and holidays
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred
